Cylance is seeking an outstanding marketer to play a vital role on our team. This individual will be responsible for taking the lead on Cylance’s marketing operations, which will include:

  • Management of our Marketo-based nurture programs

  • Program building and execution of outbound emails through our Marketo

  • Ownership of our entire database of Marketing records

  • Processing and organizing new contacts and leads from all three main go-to-market channels (web, events and partner)

  • Maintaining life cycle and lead score methodology

  • Managing integration with Sales Force

  • Reporting on lead status and lead conversions

  • Owning data quality, data validation and data backfill

  • Working closely with sales operations and business system management to close the loop and report on campaigns from the start (demand generation), through lead assignment, and all the way to deal closing (booked revenue) and reporting on the ROI and efficiency of our marketing campaigns

You must be able to lead projects from strategy to execution and have an excellent understanding of the underlying dynamics of a Marketo and SFDC integration. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the right candidate will be a team player with excellent cross-functional project leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the demand process and related technologies. You must be an excellent communicator and relationship-builder, especially with our sales team, and have an outstanding track record of proven results.



  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems used to generate, distribute, and report on leads

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management

  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact

  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization

  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database

  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance

  • Model leads and forecasting conversion and funnel over time

  • Understand how to accelerate leads through the funnel and minimize leakage

  • Measure velocity

  • Optimize lead costs by source and return on investment for specific marketing programs

  • Design complex Marketo workflows and execute highly targeted campaigns including emails, landing pages, and nurture streams

  • Use lead scoring and nurture streams to drive quality leads to sales and manage lead flows through Marketo and Salesforce

  • Work with marketing, product management, sales, customer success, and business development, to coordinate campaigns and ensure effective communication streams to target segments

  • Effectively use UTM codes to track content and channel effectiveness

  • Actively monitor and analyze the health of marketing’s contribution to the pipeline and revenue, and deliver regular automated reports and dashboards to monitor marketing key performance indicators, campaign ROI, lead flow and follow-up status

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify gaps in processes and systems, and optimize workflows for marketing and sales productivity

  • Work with sales and marketing teams to help operationalize marketing campaigns between CRM and marketing automation software

  • Ensure that all lead generation campaigns have a projected ROI before launch and measure the results against the estimate

  • Work with sales and marketing teams to maintain database health and hygiene

  • Monitor and maintain data quality and completeness by leveraging tools in CRM and marketing automation systems, as well as other third-party providers

  • Efficiently work with email and newsletter templates within the marketing automation system to prepare and deliver communications to lists

  • Effectively manage all responsibilities related to conferences and trade shows, including evaluation, registration, planning and preparation, team coordination, logistics, giveaways, collateral, demonstrations, lead collection, and results tracking

  • Lead marketing database strategy, including contact and account acquisition, data hygiene, and analysis on data quality and database health in SalesForce


  • 5+ years professional hands on experience in marketing operations and marketing automation

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or marketing

  • Strong work ethic, good sense of humor, and a willingness to teach and learn

  • Extensive experience with Marketo marketing automation, CRM

  • Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices

  • Proven track record of executing effective campaigns

  • Excellent understanding of data and the ability to analyze data to drive impactful actions

  • Results-driven ability to determine and articulate program effectiveness and ROI

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Strong project management skills

  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to follow-through

  • A team player and go-getter with great communication skills
