Facebook Market Manager, Community Operations in Hyderabad, India

The Market Manager will assume general management responsibilities of a market team, ensuring that we provide a high-quality 1:1 support experience, whilst also understanding market dynamics and serving as a cross-functional and a global liaison in developed areas of expertise. The Manager will devise goals, deliver projects and implement solutions to meet Community Operations departmental goals, while working with partners within various cross-functional teams to drive strategic priorities. Helping people and solving challenging operational problems is core to the Community Operations team. This is a full time position, based in the Hyderabad, India office.

Required Skills:

  3. Establish team goals and work with direct reports on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results

  4. Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development, working directly with global cross-functional teams to problem solve analytical approaches and develop solutions

  5. Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence team strategy through effective communication

  6. Advocate for users within their market, partnering with global and cross-functional teams to develop global solutions

Experience:

  1. BA/BS degree preferred with 6+ yrs of significant experience in a complex fast paced environment (preferably Operations)

  2. Strong people management experience

  3. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  5. Passion for ensuring a good user experience

  6. Prior experience with analytical tools (like Excel, SQL, or R) is a plus.
