Lockheed Martin Project Management & Planning Operations Representative in Huntsville, Alabama

Provides support to the LM Space Systems, Missile Systems & Advanced Programs Huntsville leadership team to plan and execute special projects and briefings that involve the Huntsville Site Director, Engineering Leadership, Finance & Business Operations, Human Resources, Business Development, and Program Integration across multiple functional disciplines and work teams. • Manage projects related to improving operational excellence of the Huntsville site. • Develop presentations in collaboration with site leadership for site visits, strategic plans, community engagement, employee engagement, new business pursuits, and special events. • Assist with preparation, facilitation, scheduling, and action item coordination and tracking for program support meetings and various business reviews. Past experience preparing detailed agendas, organizing events, addressing military & foreign customer protocol considerations, and documenting / executing follow up plans a plus. • Support logistical planning and execution for site and program events in which teammates, customers, suppliers, and government officials are present. • Work closely with internal project teams and stakeholders to resolve actions and prepare recurring project status reports / metrics. • Contribute to business unit internal / external communications planning and execution. • Contribute to planning and execution of employee morale events. • Support communication with Huntsville small business community and provide support to university relations initiatives. • Support tracking and execution of Huntsville area philanthropic / community engagement initiatives Other duties may be assigned due to operational needs. Some travel may be required. International business experience a plus.

Basic Qualifications Superior writing and communication skills. Ability to convey complex information in clear and compelling ways to varied audiences. Knowledge of public relations, government affairs, media relations, and/or non-profit management processes. Strong proficiency with the MS Office suite (ie,PowerPoint, Excel, Project of particular emphasis). Solid organizational skills in order to efficiently support multiple concurrent projects. Presentation skills. Collaborative, energetic, and creative team working style. Ability to employ new ideas and tactics to meet changing business needs. Ability to work and travel beyond typical work hours as required to support community engagement events and other work related activities Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
