Additionally, we offer a range of construction services through our wholly owned subsidiary SAM-CS. We are currently searching for experienced Instrument Operators to join our Land Surveying group. Duties & Responsibilities: span>Professional interaction with client representative and land owners. Operates survey instruments/equipment required to perform surveys on job sites as directed by the Crew Chief Coordinate field work for a variety of standard types of surveys under the supervision of a Crew Chief Responsible for ensuring the truck is loaded and all supplies necessary for completion of the day's work are fully stocked Other duties as assigned Required Experience - Education and Skills: Oil & Gas pipeline experience is preferred, specifically with OQ tasks such as line/utility locating Preference given to experience performing Above Ground Marker (AGM) placement, tracking inspection tools (Pigs), and Depth of Cover (DOC) Surveys Experience with Trimble equipment, to include, Trimble Total Stations, Trimble R10 GNSS GPS Receivers and Trimble data collectors preferred, but not required Strong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal) Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude Ability to walk 5 miles a day and/or stand for up to 12 hours a day Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment Ability to travel for extended periods (approximately 60%) Ability to work in all-weather climates Valid driver's license, clean background check and drug screening We offer a best in class benefits package that includes company paid premiums for medical, vision, dental and life insurance.
