Manufacture in-process and finished products, and complete documents in accordance with batch records, company Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P’s) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P’s).
Weighing up and checking ingredients as specified on the batch records and documents.
Manually deducting amounts from the Material Control Cards and checking information on cards against batch record and material containers.
Clean Weigh Room per approved S.O.P. and complete documentation.
Follow cG.M.P.’s and S.O.P.’s and safety policies.
Data entry into the computer.
Operating a hi-lo and placing/removing skids from the rack system.
Maintain inventory in warehouse per S.O.P.
Move materials, using hi-lo or skid mover to the appropriate location.
Keep accurate records and fill out batch records, labels, log books, etc.
Set-up, operate and clean ancillary equipment such as fitzmills, screeners, etc.
Charge material to mixer and program controllers.
Transfer material to totes or drums when finished and weigh and label totes or drums.
Clean room and equipment per approved S.O.P. and complete documentation.
Remove skids, drums and other items when finished.
Follow G.M.P’s and S.O.P’s and safety policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
1.High school diploma or general education degree (GED)2.Ability to speak read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.3.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.4.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.5.Hi-lo license.6.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee must occasionally be able to push 450 pounds or more.7.Ability to work well with others as well as independently.8.Have good hand-eye coordination as well as detail-oriented.9.Ability to work overtime hours when necessary.10.Have some mechanical aptitude.
