Newell Brands Manager - DTC Operations in Hoboken, New Jersey
Reference Code: 1701401 The Manager, eCommerce DTC Operations will be responsible from tactical day-to-day business operations to executing strategic initiatives to increase efficiency and growing the Direct to Consumer eCommerce business. You will be responsible for ensuring that the DTC business needs from Consumer Services and Supply Chain standpoint are met. The ideal candidate should be willing to partner with cross functional teams including Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and Consumer Service to understand the underlying operational issues and opportunities in the business and lead initiatives to address them. Responsibilities: 1) Run day to day business operations of Direct to Consumer eCommerce business by collaborating with Supply Chain, Consumer Service, Finance, and IT teams 2) Partner with Supply Chain, 3PL, and DC teams to implement new drop shipping initiatives to meet direct to consumer eCommerce requirements 3) Ensure that inventory needs are met for DTC business and there is complete product coverage at all times including during key selling seasons 4) Monitor ‘Out of Stock’ on DTC channels and take measures to improve product availability 5) Lead new initiatives cross functionally to fix the operational gaps in DTC fulfillment or supply chain 6) Create new processes and system changes to optimize DTC operations and work with technology and supply chain teams to implement 7) Partner with Consumer Service team to understand consumer pain points and work on initiatives to improve consumer experience 8) Streamline backend processes including order to cash flow, returns and refund processing, fraud prevention, repairs and warranty, etc. 9) Evaluate new 3PL or Logistics partners and work with Newell Global teams to expand direct eCommerce business globally 10) Create strategy for Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory and execute initiatives to sell E&O inventory through direct eCommerce channels 11) Monitor operational KPIs like lead times, fulfillment rate, shipping time, etc. to track progress towards operational goals for direct eCommerce business and work on initiatives to improve KPIs Key Interfaces: Supply Chain, Consumer Service, IT, Finance, Merchandising, Planning Qualifications Requirements 1) Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.
