Kforce Healthcare Project and Operations Consultant in Hingham, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client in Hingham, MA that is looking for a Healthcare Project and Operations Consultant.Major Responsibilities:

  • Leads project management activities on initiatives across multiple participating health plans

  • Works strategically with health plan representatives to identify desired project related deliverables

  • Develops innovative project approaches and timelines, process workflow diagrams, recommendations, and presentations

  • Working with the Executive Director and health plans, identifies and recommends the most appropriate resources (and/or vendors) for program needs

  • Responsible for status reporting and communications to all stakeholders regarding project updates, deliverables and timelines

  • Leads multi-disciplinary project teams with representatives from the health plans and manages the activities of team members who are not direct reports and may work within multiple organizations

  • Cultivates and maintains positive working relationships with staff across organizations

  • Delivers presentations to audiences of various sizes as needed for assigned projects

  • Assists/leads in the development of internal and external communication plans and materials, and status reports for keeping health plans informed of progress

  • Maintains effective communication between the organization, health plans, and the provider community for assigned projects

  • Track projects, report and monitor status of project line items, deliverables and outcomes

  • Works collaboratively to resolve complex issues related to initiatives

  • Conducts in depth evaluation and interpretation of data and uses findings to support activities and project objectives

  • Articulate and work to meet project objectives according to established timelines across multiple organizations

  • BA/BS degree required, advanced degree preferred

  • Project management experience or certificate a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to effectively plan and facilitate organized and productive meetings/workgroups

  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision

  • Strong aptitude for effectively influencing others in project-related situations

  • Demonstrated process improvement and operations management experience preferred

  • Ability to interpret and use data for process improvement

  • Knowledge of health insurer and provider administrative processes preferred
