Reference #: 82970 Job Location: Hershey, PA Summary: Leads significant QA programs and undertakes assignments of very high complexity. Serves as QRC representative for multiple Hershey Company and/or co-manufacturing facilities and may serve on trade association committees. Technical resource for Manufacturing and Engineering, providing leadership and guidance in the areas of Global Food Safety Standards, weight control, incident investigation and resolution, troubleshooting and other related matters. Staff Specialist must have a sound working knowledge of Hershey's quality system requirements. Examples include auditing and assessing customer and supplier quality programs, and leadership of acquisition integration from the broader QRC focus. May also interact with regulatory officials on behalf of Hershey. Lead cross functional teams (Marketing, Legal, etc.) on short or long-term assignments with respect to complex QRC issues (i.e. regulatory changes, product recalls, etc.). Implementation of food safety and quality systems within Hershey Manufacturing plants to meet company and regulatory requirements. Major Duties/Responsibilities: Project Leadership / New Product Support: Acts as QA representative on multi-functional project teams or complex assignments. May coordinate new product efforts from initial test runs to full-scale production to assure integrity of systems. Compliance: Implements quality systems and programs to ensure company and regulatory standards are consistently achieved. Provides training programs, auditing of quality systems, complex troubleshooting and large-scale incident management. Training: Develops and/or implements training programs to assure compliance and understanding of internal quality expectations and regulatory compliance.
