The Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Molding Operator II based out of Hemet, CA. This positon is for 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm- 11:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain set up parameters for molds and input them into injection molding press.

  • Operate the injection molding press including identification and notification of alarms.

  • Makes adjustments to molding conditions within specified parameters.

  • Perform general inspection of molded product using a microscope, gages, and other measuring equipment as required by the quality inspection plan.

  • Perform in-process adjustments to auxiliary equipment as required.

  • Completes required paperwork to report production, scrap, downtime, problems and issues related to the equipment and labor reporting.

  • General housekeeping of work area

  • Position Requirements:

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to interpret product blueprints preferred.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to successfully accomplish job duties.

  • 1 year prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Position Overview

The Molding Operator II Installs standard molds into the molding press and performs machine set up to predetermined mold parameters. This role also requires inspections of molded products and packaging of the molded products.
