Montana Underground Construction Vacuum Truck Driver/Jetter Operator in HELENA, Montana

Position Summary - Vacuum Truck Driver/Jetter Operator Responsible for performing a full range of tasks required for CCTV and line jetting operations to include but not limited to, safely driving and operating vacuum/jetter combo trucks, operating CCTV apparatus within underground lines, properly use, record and troubleshoot video software applications (i.e., POSM, Granite, etc.), jetting underground lines, and removing roots from underground lines using appropriate attachments, in accordance with established company policies and procedures. Job Requirements - Vacuum Truck Driver/Jetter Operator Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments CDL B with Tanker endorsement required; CDL A with Tanker and endorsement is a plus Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels Experience with POSM © and/or Granite © software applications Must demonstrate knowledge of operations and ability to safely operate assigned equipment High school diploma, or GED are required; PACP certified and 40 Hour HAZWOPER are a plus Essential Functions - Vacuum Truck Driver/Jetter Operator Follow all DOT, OSHA, FREG/ES safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site specific safety plans Assist in the establishment of specified decontamination stations, ensure proper levels of personal protective equipment and participate in site safety meetings prior to beginning daily operations and notify management or supervisor of any issues or concerns Perform a variety of project related administrative and accounting tasks, in addition to maintaining the daily activities log book, ensuring that all activity is properly documented Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers Safely operate heavy equipment and routinely use tools/equipment to include, but not limited to line jetting equipment, skid steer, and CCTV equipment, etc. Ensure that all equipment is maintained, repaired and in maximum operating condition Perform physical labor associated with CCTV and line jetting operations including removing and inspecting manholes and other previously mentioned functions Complete paperwork, forms and records as required Performs other duties as assigned or required Physical Demands Applicant must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment and annual physical examination, and DOT, as required under company Program. Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, and kneeling. Applicant must possess physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required tasks. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more. Frequent travel is required.
