Job Summary and Responsibilities

Hackensack Meridian Quality Care is looking for someone with extraordinary fiscal, managerial and operational expertise who has successfully navigated the challenges of nursing home/regional administration.

The Regional Director of Operation’s role in achieving our mission is to provide direct day-to-day oversight and management of operational, clinical, and financial activities within assigned facilities to ensure quality care, customer satisfaction, budgetary control, employee retention and the ongoing compliance with Federal, State, and company policies and procedures and programs.

  • Ensure high quality resident care throughout the region

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and with federal, state and local regulations

  • Ensure financial revenue and expense management goals are achieved

  • Ensure facilities’ leadership teams are utilizing resources in the most effective and efficient way to positively affect reimbursement, survey outcomes, etc.

  • Assist facilities in developing market niche strategies to better serve their communities while increasing market share

  • Meet regularly with facility leaders and front line associates to invite their feedback and respond to concerns

Qualifications

  • A licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing in the state of New Jersey.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of existing, new and anticipated federal and state regulations.

  • Ten (10) years of experience leading a skilled nursing / rehabilitation center with direct experience in clinical compliance, building census and labor management.

  • Experience with multi-site management preferred.

  • MUST be willing to take on interim Administrator role at third party management locations.

  • Budgetary and fiscal management skills

  • Extensive experience and proficiency working with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Word

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members

  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills

  • Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical

  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required as this position has direct contact with numerous departments within and outside the company
