NJ Employer Practice Operations Analyst in Hackensack, New Jersey
This position gathers, prepares and analyzes operational and financial information, designs and develops spreadsheet models that support oral and written presentations and reports. The position requires the application of analytical skills, financial principles and good interpersonal communication. This position reports to the Director, Practice Operations and provides analytical support to Hackensack Medical Group. 1. Creating, producing and analyzing reports for faculty practice management and physicians. 2. Analyze large databases of information from multiple sources to identify trends over time. 3. Interpretation of quantitative data in narrative and graphic formats. 4. Responsible for ad hoc analysis of strategic, operating and financial indicators. 5. Validate data reported in ad hoc reports to assure data integrity. 6. Generate and distribute of standard production reports. 7. Collaborate with managers representing faculty practice clients to identify analytical requirements. 8. Monitor ad hoc data requests to assure that reports are generated accurately and timely. 9. Liaison with physician billing vendor for generation of ad hoc data requests. 10. Assist in initiatives to maintain and update dictionaries and databases required for practice management software. 11. Assist in initiatives to maintain billing encounter forms. 12. Special projects as necessary. Working Conditions: General office work with occasional bending and presentation assembly. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Bachelor's Degree. 2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office family of products; mastery of Excel, Access, PowerPoint . 3. Solid experience in healthcare operations or a business analyst environment. 4. Strong analytical and technical skills. 5. Demonstrates broad understanding of medical practice operations, business principles, customer service. 6. Strong organization and time management capacity to balance multiple project priorities with limited supervision. 7. Strong investigative skills with ability to research beyond the initial results. 8. Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Certification in Epic Reporting Workbench and Report Writing within six months of date of hire.
