ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Stacking of neat bales per work order specification, loading and unloading machines, obtaining and proper use of top and bottom sheets, filling out top sheets per work order specifications, monitor machine status and quality during run, perform functional setup, and housekeeping.Other duties may be assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: Basic math skills, basic maintenance skills, and some machine experience preferred.LANGUAGE SKILLS: Be able to communicate with supervisors, able to read and understand operatorand#39;s manual (Accommodations will be made to employees) and must be able to write work orders and fill out necessary production paperwork.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Must be able to add and subtract basic fractions and be able to use a calculator for addition, subtraction, multiplying and dividing.REASONING ABILITY Be able to isolate and solve basic mechanical problems; basic machine troubleshooting.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee must rarely carry up to 50 pounds with occasional lift/carry 10 to 40 pounds. Also requires occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting with some repetitive wrist and hand motions including gripping, and standing on your feet all day. WORK ENVIRONMENT Employee must wear protective glasses, safety steel toed shoes, and use hearing protection. Most of the work is inside the plant. Plant temperatures vary with weather (non conditioned). The plant is generally clean of debris and clutter but the manufacturing process generates a fair amount of corrugated dust
