Under functional guidance, responsible for the overall management of Treasury Operations for the entire company. Position directs/manages multiple functional areas and leads multi-disciplinary teams that include ePayments (ACH Origination and Processing, US Dollar Wire Transfers including system administration of the PayPlus Wire system), Remittance Processing, Wholesale Cash Vaults, Account Analysis, Account Recon and Positive Pay Processing, Treasury Management Services (includes System Maintenance, Sweep Account Setup/Maintenance, Controlled Disbursement Monitoring). Position maintains ownership of upstream correspondent relationships and manages third party vendor relationships overseeing remittance processing, virtual wholesale cash vault and armored courier business. Position has overall responsibility for data integrity for multiple systems (Associated Connect, Fiserv ACH, ACH Alert, Chesapeake Positive Pay, Wire Transfer PayPlus system, Cash Vault Namsys, Wieland Account Analysis) through daily activity and conversion efforts, including bank, product and account level coding, maintenance and verification, and communications with the Treasury Management, Business and Commercial Banking Sales, Support, Onboarding, Implementation, Customer Care, Communications, Product, IT and Risk Staff.
Responsible for fostering a collaborative network between IT and all CDTM counterparts to ensure Treasury goals are being met, modified and challenged in a way that will grow and develop the commercial business portfolio and our ability to support it.
Ensure compliance with policies, laws and regulations that govern Treasury Management Products. Review, approve and communicate changes in policies and procedures impacting Treasury Operations. Assist in the determination of risk management measures in conjunction with the business lines and Corporate Credit. Responsible for coaching and developing staff, performance management, change management, employee relations, and staffing.

-Responsible for attracting, hiring, training and developing talent. Provide coaching/mentoring to manager and supervisory staff in handling conflicts, employee relations, performance appraisals to include setting meaningful goals and objectives and other related human resource activities.
-Develop and implement operational plan to support the business units and growth goals of Associated Banc-Corp for Treasury Management Products. Key functions to support growth and superior customer service include; Product setup, transaction processing, system maintenance, compliance monitoring, management reporting. Key products include: ACH Origination and Received, Positive Pay, Account Analysis, Wire Transfers, Lockbox, Cash Vaults, and ACH Filters.
-Formulate solutions to complex problems through researching, analyzing, recommending and resolving. Accomplished under administrative direction and company policies.
-Manage the daily operations to ensure compliance with company, local, state and federal regulations and policies. Act as liaison as necessary with other organizations and relevant authorities, and provide assistance and cooperation concerning audits and examinations.
-Manage and lead projects related to functional areas, primarily related to, but not limited to, system conversions, installation of new processes, mergers/acquisition and branch sales. Project managers role requires the coordinating activities of the project time through leadership, self motivation, ensuring detail project plans are developed and the ability to solve problems and bring resolution.
-Plan, forecast, set objectives and determine course of action that effectively deploys the resources (human, financial and equipment) within the department to attain objectives set forth. This includes the management and control of departmental expenditures within agreed budgets.
-Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective services by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, business lines, internal customers / contacts, vendors and customers.
-Measure, monitors, and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and time schedules. Includes the development, monitoring and reporting of departmental productivity and quality (Service Level Agreements – SLA’s) measurements and standards. Function has multiple locations.
-Anticipate changes within the company and the financial industry, formulate strategic direction, develop business plan and recommend to Senior Management changes needed within the area. These should focus on the overall strategic objectives of the company as defined by Executive Management.
-Maintain expertise in core applications used by area, have working knowledge of software applications used on a daily basis and be aware of changes in the financial industry that impact the area. Stay informed as to relevant skills and qualifications levels required by staff to perform their functions. Accomplish this through trade or other publications, outside visits and meetings, vendor provided material or attending vendor conferences / seminars.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Education: Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience MBA or CPA
Required Experience: 10 years in the financial services industry
Preferred Experience: 10 years in a leadership role with the financial services industry.
