With the acquisition by Superior EnergyServices, NPT is now part of one of the largest oilfield service companiesin the world.Northern Plains Trucking is seeking CDL Frac Heater Operators to join ourteam!POSITION SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the Truck Supervisor and Dispatch Office, the CDLFrac Heater Operator operates a frac heater unit equipped with a burner forheating fluids. All duties of the CDL Frac Heater Operator are to be performedaccording to the safe operating standards handbook in order to maximize thesafety of personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task. TheCDL Frac Heater Operator must complete all paperwork including vehicleinspection reports (per DOT Regulations) and drivers daily logs (per DOTRegulations), as well as have intermediate knowledge of Federal MotorCarrier DOT Regulations.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job) - Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performthe essential functions. Adheres to Company policies and work requirements. May be driving truck with a total capacity in excess of 3 tons. Operating burners for heating fluids, using controls such as levers,pedals, and buttons. Observing equipment gauges and indicators and hand signals to monitorjob activities and conditions. Carrying and laying out hoses from the truck to the manifold. Assure that trucks are maintained and are in good working condition.Must fill out Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report (per DOT Regulations)daily. Notify supervisor of all problems immediately and perform minor repairsas necessary. An understanding of basic maintenance concepts is required torepair, maintain, and adjust equipment, often using hand tools. Assure that paperwork such as timesheets, tickets, and records ofloads hauled/transferred are completed accurately and forwarded tosupervisor d Must complete Vehicle Inspection Report and Driver's Daily Log eachday and forward to supervisor at the end of the day (per DOT regulations). Responsible for conducting all field activities safely and accurately.Responsible for operating and maintaining all company equipment and property. Must be willing to work overtime. Dependable attendance, no unauthorized absences. Follow safe work and good housekeeping practices. Attend all required safety meetings. Helping teammates on location to set up and tear down spill berms. This position requires various types and levels of job related training. Other duties as required by supervisor.Education and ExperienceMinimum Required Qualifications Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor.
