Constellation Brands, Inc. Manager, Sales Operations in Grapevine, Texas
The successful candidate will work closely with the Texas Plains Region sales team to ensure Core Wine financial, depletion and distribution growth goals are met while ensuring the wines are sold in the right accounts, at the right price in a way that builds brand equity. This position will be responsible for ensuring optimized management of analytics and reporting capabilities as to play an essential role in optimizing effectiveness and efficiency of our route to market.
Sales Information and Process Management
Lead contact for Core Wine sales reporting and analysis across all available internal and external data systems.
Collaborate with CBrands Sales, Strategic Insights, Finance and Marketing teams to help drive consistency and effectiveness of reporting.
Work with Sales Finance to assist in developing and implementing a formal process for post program analysis, including NPD launches.
Lead NPD forecasting process for Texas Plains Core Wine Region.
Support weekly forecast process utilizing IQ and distributor resources to ensure sales team is on plan - provide recommendations and action plan on closing gaps.
Assist in the annual planning process and monitoring of all programs that require Sales Ops support. Specifically, facilitate annual CBP process, budgeting, localized achievement of national programming, allocations, forecasting
Analytics and Strategic Business Development
Develop and distribute a regular suite of account tracking, targeting and penetration performance tools to Core Wine leadership and the sales team and identify issues and opportunities to ensure financial, depletion and distribution objectives are achieved.
Work with Finance and Revenue Management and review the Comparative Price Report (CPR) to ensure that each state is properly priced within brand and competitive guidelines and to monitor effectiveness of key Core Wine sales initiatives, incentives and promotions.
Support monthly NPD forecasting process utilizing existing tools and market knowledge, and develop sales strategy to maximize NPD effectiveness in market.
Schedule monthly business review meetings with GM and/or directors to review monthly and ad hoc reports and offer recommendations on how best to support the sales team deliver overall sales strategy goals.
Bachelors Degree and 3-5 years industry or CPG experience a must.
Proven analytical skills ability to create compelling fact based sales presentation.
Excellent Microsoft suite proficiency, including superior Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of IRI/Nielsen/
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action, adjust to change and persuade at all levels, are key competencies of this role.
Ability to learn proprietary systems quickly (ex: MicroStrategy, Diver, etc).
- Field Sales experience at the Distributor or Supplier level.
