Lockheed Martin Project Management and Planning Operations Representative / Grand Prairie, TX in Grand Prairie, Texas

Reporting to the Director of Applied Research, this individual will partner closely with the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) program leadership, engineering and the Communications organization to support the development and execution of integrated communications and technology development strategies supporting the MFC Innovation Center and Applied Research. The ideal candidate will leverage their strong technical background to understand complex technology and programs to develop strategies and plans to achieve business goals and objectives. This will provide the candidate with extensive insight into MFC’s existing and emerging programs and technology.

Primary responsibilities: In close partnership with MFC Communications and program leadership: • Support multifaceted communications strategies to promote the Dallas and Orlando Innovation Centers, MFC Innovation Events and Applied Research projects • Work with the Innovation Center team to conceptualize, script and create content for augmented reality displays, user documentation, tours, etc • Work directly with Line of Business (LOB) Communication and Business Development personnel to customize content for the Innovation Center Lobby’s interactive displays and globe • Support the development of creative and business communications content to enhance the Innovation Center’s message • Work with the Applied Research staff and support communications campaigns for key business pursuits • Utilize existing and emerging communications strategies to publicize upcoming events and recent accomplishments

Basic Qualifications • Strong technical background to understand and communicate complex concepts • Superior communications skills with strong writing and editing ability, including AP style • Experience in developing and executing integrated strategic communications plans involving multiple stakeholders • Ability to plan, organize and support events • Ability to handle multiple priorities under deadlines • AAS degree with closely related experience • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and must have at least an Interim Secret security clearance prior to start

Desired skills • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technology based degree • Final Secret security clearance • Strong communication and relationship build skills
