The Workday Security and Reporting Team provides its customers, primarily global HR, with timely access to the worker data they require to fulfill their job responsibilities and satisfy the information needs of those they support, while ensuring data privacy and protection practices are met. The Workday Reporting Team works closely with its partners in the various Centers of Expertise (COEs) to provide a library of custom reports that can be run on-demand by global HR, as well as to build custom reports to satisfy HR processes and ad hoc requests. This team is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Workday Reporting Governance, including Reporting Standards, various Standards of Practice (SOPs) and related audits. The Workday Reporting Team works closely with Workday Security, HR Business Solutions, Workday Support, HR Compliance, HRIS and the various COEs to ensure Workday reporting practices are aligned and consistent with the work of these groups. This team also partners with communications and training experts to educate and train users to be as self-reliant as possible in obtaining the worker information needed from Workday.
You will be a Workday Report Writer on the centralized Workday Security and Reporting Team supporting global customers. Your work will include taking ownership of and resolving Workday reporting cases in ServiceNow, consulting with the customer to fully understand each request and determine the best resolution, obtaining approvals as needed, building and modifying Workday reports, adhering to the Reporting Standards and various SOPs, validating report results and ensuring user acceptance, scheduling reports for others when warranted and approved, researching reporting and security-related issues, and participating in report maintenance. You may be assigned to work with specific COEs or on specific projects, depending upon your skills, experience, learning needs and interests, or to balance work across the team. You will be expected to attend regularly scheduled meetings with our team and others with whom we work closely.
We are looking for a Bachelor’s degree level 8 in Human Resources or Human Resources Information Systems discipline with at least 1 year Workday reporting experience. Relevant diploma or equivalent with 3+ years’ experience reporting in another HRIS or other Workday experience will be considered. You are a self-motivated, proactive team player with the proven ability to work independently, prioritizing your work and managing your time responsibly. You work in support of the team by sharing information, workload and experiences; partnering with team members to solve problems, ensure consistency and alignment, and make decisions; and participating in friendly banter. You are customer-oriented and others find you easy to work with. You seek to understand what is behind a request before determining the path to resolution. You appreciate the need to adhere to governance practices. You have strong attention to detail and have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ideally, you are fluent in English plus at least one other language to help us best serve our global population.
