CommunityHealth Systems Professional Services Corporation seeks a Senior Director,Operations – Financial Services for its Franklin, TN, headquarters FinancialServices team.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Position is intended to assist the President & Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Financial Operations with necessary operational improvement support. Of priority focus will be collaborating with Divisional leadership teams on volume analysis, reporting and improvement efforts. The Senior Director will play a direct role in driving the execution of volume and service line enhancement initiatives. The Senior Director will also support service line margin review initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports Division leadership (including Division Presidents, Vice Presidents of Operations and Finance) in the development and execution of plans to improve overall volumes, operational efficiency, and earnings performance (i.e. revenue improvement, expense reduction, margin improvement).
•Establish routine volume operating metrics with collaboration from the Divisions and affiliated hospitals.
•Routinely support Division reviews of service line and facility evaluations.
•Validate Division leadership use of data, such as monitoring, review and analysis tools; confirm timely execution of identified opportunities for improvement.
•Further the implementation of standardized reporting and use of the corporate enterprise performance management systems (e.g. MedeAnalytics).
•Special projects as assigned by the President & Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Financial Operations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or Marketing required – Masters Preferred
•Experience in supporting change management and execution success
•Medhost/HMS and other financial systems used in multi-facility healthcare systems
•Must possess strong Excel, Access, Essbase and Powerpoint skills
•Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
