Bose Quality Operations Engineer in Framingham, Massachusetts

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Field Quality Management:

  • Work closely with Business Unit teams, Continuing Engineering and other key stakeholder organizations to drive quality issues to resolution and lessons learned.

  • Coordinate material movement in support of Failure Analysis globally.

  • Drive closed loop communications ensuring awareness of quality issues and corrective actions to all key stakeholder organizations.

  • Leverage our Quality Database (QBase) to mine field quality data and identify issues.

  • Lead Quality performance report outs to senior leadership within CED, MGSC, and GDE.

  • Structured Problem Solving (8D) Management:

  • Lead cross-functional teams through structured problem solving (8D) exercises to closure.

  • Manage Product Hold and Product Sort activities.

  • Present 8D findings to all levels of technical and Executive management.

  • Support advancement of 8D maturity within the Design Assurance Engineering organization.

  • Ensure the advancement of lessons learned derived from closed issues.

  • General Responsibilities:

  • Support QAE and Business Unit A3 objectives.

  • Support the development, usage, and enhancements to the Global Quality Database (QBase).

  • Present project reviews, in the form of written reports and oral presentations, to all levels of technical management.

  • Drive general improvement activities for Field Quality Operations core processes.
