Lockheed Martin Project Management & Planning Operations Staff in Fort Worth, Texas
Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) Project Manager responsible for collaborating with multiple disciplines to plan, develop and execute modification/retrofit tasks associated with specific engineering changes for significant modification events. This position reports to the AV Mod Retrofit Overhaul & Upgrades (MRO&U) Operations Project Management Manager. Performs analysis of Initial Retrofit Plan (IRP) and establishes milestones to support modification/retrofit event. The successful candidate will work within the AV MRO&U Operations organization to accurately synergize critical planning and milestone information with multiple authors, schedulers and leaders to achieve program objectives. Tasks include, but not limited to: cradle to grave project management; development of briefings (contractor and/or service); conducting project reviews; assisting in requirements development; compiling, authoring and distributing several recurring AV MRO&U Operations reports and performance deliverables for consumption by various stakeholders within the F-35 Program. Will be responsible for providing in the field technical support to maintainers/mod teams during verification/proofing events. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and business acumen skills, be highly collaborative, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as appropriate and produce superior work products under short deadlines. Candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications Experience working with program management. Experience working with avionics. Experience managing multiple projects using long range planning techniques. Experience working with IT systems (PDM, ALIS, CRM, JDL). Experience working with Microsoft Office ( Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Bachelors degree with 8 years of professional work experience.
Desired skills Must have excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and take ownership for projects assigned. Must be able to work overtime and travel occasionally, as required. Ability to efficiently multi-task and collaborate with others. (Engineering, Materials, Finance, Configuration Management). Above average interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with senior leadership, customers and peers while working in a “Team” environment.
