Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee Forklift Operator/Pallet Wrapper - Rotating Day Shift in Fort Worth, Texas

Forklift Operators use Crown reach trucks to perform receiving and shipping duties in accordance with department and company-wide set standards.

Accountabilities:

  1. Locate and pull requested quantities of specified lot and product number as designated on picking tickets.
  2. Prepare or repackage, to specifications, orders being received or shipped.
  3. Use a computer console and/or RF terminal to perform transactions related to the physical movement of materials or product.
  4. Verify the physical accuracy of all computer transactions performed.
  5. At each day's end, return equipment to designated charging station, and prepare equipment for daily (overnight) charge.
  6. Assist with physical inventory, as needed.
  7. Train and motivate other material handlers as needed.
  8. Maintain work area in a clean and neat fashion.
  9. Follow all established safety procedures.Perform other work related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  1. Current standup reach forklift training and certification. Prefer 2+ years experience in narrow isle warehouse.
  2. Ability to follow and provide written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
  3. Strong counting and numbers skills.
  4. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities on the lines.
  5. Ensure proper storage requirements of staged film and packaging.
  6. Following equipment and facility safety procedures and requirements.
