They will be responsible forthe vehicle they are assigned to drive as well as getting the passengers andtheir luggage to their destinations in a safe and comfortable manner, withinDOT guidelines.-Conducts thorough pre and post trip checks of the motorcoach.-Operates all company vehicles safely and courteously, nationally andinternationally, including motorcoaches up to 45 feet in length, on all public roads, highways and required private property,including cities and mountainous regions, in all weather conditions.-Provides exceptional customer service and acts in a courteous andprofessional manner at all times, regardless of the circumstances-Transports passengers in a safe, comfortable and on-time mode.-Assists passengers on and off the motorcoach in a safe, pleasant andcourteous manner.-Loads and unloads passenger luggage respectfully and safely.-Follows charter itineraries when applicable, in a safe and timely fashion.-Works closely with travel guide to establish expectations for a safe and funtrip, to include learning itineraries, routes, stops and destinations, and preparing for any weather or road hazards thatmay develop.-Maintains accurate vehicle inspections and records of hours worked and milesdriven with an on paper and an onboard recording device-Complies with company schedule and ability to work excess of normal workinghours as workloads and seasonal activities are encountered.-Complies with all company and safety policies and procedures.-Must drive a minimum of two days each month and a total of six days perquarter, to keep driving skills sharp, current and up-to-date. Days available each month should be reported in writing to thedispatcher at the beginning of each month, to determine when the charters can be driven. These days are not required to bedriven consecutively.-Part time drivers will complete on-going education modules as directed and inthe timeframe allowed, in a timely and efficient manner.Required Skills-Possess and maintain Class A or B CDL or ability to maintain before hire-Must have Passenger and Air Brake endorsements-High school diploma or equivalent-Must be a careful, patient, non-aggressive driver with an excellentdriving record-Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test, and back screen per DOTregulations as required-Ability to load and unload luggage up to 80 pounds-Clean driving record and insurable by the Company insurance carrier-Must be able to drive evenings and weekends as needed-Skilled with maneuvering a coach in tight places without any incidents ordamage-Adept defensive driving techniques-Keen awareness to details, which includes accurate driver logs, roadhazards, other drivers and surroundings-Exceptional customer service and ability to act in a courteous andprofessional manner at all times, regardless of the circumstances-Ability to maintain a professional appearance-Proficient with reading maps and GPS, searching for locations and/ordirections on-line when necessary, and correctly following directions-Computer literate and able to learn and efficiently use different softwareprograms to include electronic logs, and automatic on board recording devices-Speak, read and write English fluently-Perform basic math functions accurately-Excellent communication skills and superior customer service skills-Ability to
