Masco Corporation Director of Operations, Multi-Site in Fife, Washington
The Dir of Ops, Multisite is a leadership position that leads the effort towards effective and efficient utilization of all personnel and physical facilities to achieve desired results in accordance with policies, principles, and established procedures. Identifies and develops structure that will support business objectives. Drive the Masco Operating System at all levels. Participate with management team members in training efforts, succession planning and developmental opportunities of staff.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for operations functions: Production, Delivery, Maintenance, Scheduling, Materials and Purchasing and all associated personnel at multiple locations.
Responsible for operating budget. Manages and controls expenditures and variances
Ensures staff enforces Company policies and procedures, safety rules and employee rules of conduct.
Responsible for: developing people; improving processes; reducing costs; quality monitoring and improvements; new product development and implementation; superior customer service; and on-time delivery.
Reviews production costs and production quality, and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of plant
Manages material inventories to ensure timely production of finished goods
Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
Incorporates Milgard’s Core Values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to the Milgard Core Values.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, terminating, disciplining and coaching employees.
Utilizes Milgard Performance System to ensure employee engagement and achievement of organizational goal
Level of Supervision :
Supervision of Plant Managers. May supervise next level employees at “home” location.
Indirect responsibility for 300+ employees
Experience/Skills Required :
Minimum of 10 years of leadership in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated results using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies to drive improved KPIs in safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, and profitability.
Strong working experience with managing financial statements; performing to and managing operating budget, long-range plans.
Demonstrated track record of developing people through intentional succession planning, coaching and mentoring.
- Four-year degree required; MBA is a plus.
