This position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment completes the packaging process while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position requires set up and break down of the line as required, operating all head side equipment per SOPs as defined in the Production Manual, and ensuring product specifications are met in accordance with customer written specifications. Team Member will be responsible for monitoring and reporting any wear and tear on equipment and operating machinery, understanding specs of the product being ran, documenting both on paper and electronically machine settings, weights and other data as needed. Candidate must have the ability to enter data into the Plant View system and be able to assemble, disassemble and clean equipment when needed and communicate issues to lead and supervisor. Candidate must be able to use a calculator to figure yield efficiencies, scrap yield, and calculate SPC documentation (add, subtract, divide, and multiply) and be able to read all Operator logs. Team Members assigned to the Quesalupa Line will be required to perform Sanitation and some Preventative Maintenance responsibilities for the department.
Lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Must be able to move heavy objects (100 lbs.) with mechanical device. Quesalupa Schedule 1st Shift A Crew Sunday through Tuesday 6am to 6pm Wednesday 6am to noon 3rd Shift B Crew Sunday through Tuesday 6pm to 6am Wednesday 6pm to midnight 1st Shift C Crew Wednesday noon to 6pm Thursday through Saturday 6am to 6pm 3rd Shift D Crew Wednesday midnight to 6am Thursday through Saturday 6pm to 6am You must have three months of work history within the last six months to be considered for this position. Applicants will be considered from the following counties in AR Washington, Benton, and Madison.
