Keep reading as Fluke is looking for an Operations Manager to join our Temperature Calibration (TCAL) factory, at our manufacturing facility in Everett, WA. Come drive the planning process for operations by overseeing and managing a number of functions that include manufacturing, production control, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, inventory control and materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in conjunction with managers across the organization against our KPIs of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.

-Translate customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products.

-Develop, deploy operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.

-Direct factory labor including Operators, Team Leads, and Material Handlers.

-Develop employees across multiple segments including lean, technical, efficiency, safety and adherence to processes and procedures. -Review performance of assigned employees, completing appraisals and recommending appropriate status changes and/or salary increases.

-Responsible for determining the need for labor, space, materials and capital equipment and provide cost analysis in justifying expense.

-May require occasional travel, extended hours, and on-call duty.

Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree in a related field.

-Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

-4-6 years of management experience.

-Technical or Engineering background.

-Experience in ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 a plus.

-Inventory management and Distribution Center experience.

-Demonstrated positive results with Lean / Kaizen / continuous improvement skills.

-Proven track record of working with cross functional teams.

-Exceptional communication (verbal and written) for varying levels of leadership.

-Demonstrated problem solving skills and outside of the box thinking.

-Ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop, implement and sustain changes to deliver year over year improvements to quality, delivery and cost.
