Job Title: Material Flow and Operations Analyst

Job Location: Easton, PA

Job Duties: Follett LLC, Material Flow and Operations Analyst, Easton, PA - Analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions. Analyzes operational solutions for projects, including transportation optimization, network modeling, process and methods analysis, cost containment, capacity enhancement, routing and shipment optimization, and information management. Analyzes production requirements and makes recommendations for optimal material flow, storage and delivery, supporting continuous flow cells, small batch processing and traditional assembly lines. Utilizes information systems including ERP, Kanban replenishment, picklist and third party providers to manage fluctuating demand and parts replenishment. Researches and recommends processes that incorporate various systems including Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), bar code scanning technology and third party logistics to ensure the efficient flow of incoming materials, timely processing from the suppliers to the receiving dock through "stores" and to the assembly work cells. Creates and maintains PFEP (Plan For Every Part) database. Identifies and implements new material handling technologies in support of strategic objectives. Utilizes lean manufacturing skills, including Lean Warehousing and Inventory Management, Just-in-Time, Pull Systems, Kanban, Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC Problem Solving, Work Analysis, Lean Enterprise development and transformation utilizing Lean metrics, Project Management, Value Stream Mapping, Change Leadership skills, and coordinating Multi-site Supply Chain Logistics.

Job Requirements: Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Economics or a related field with 7 years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing, Logistics, and Material Management environment. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience in: 1.) 7 years utilizing information systems including ERP, Kanban replenishment, and picklist and third party providers to manage fluctuating demand and parts replenishment; 2.) 7 years utilizing processes that incorporate various systems including Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), bar code scanning technology, delivery route design, and third party logistics to ensure the efficient flow of incoming materials, timely processing from the suppliers to the receiving dock through "stores" and to the assembly work cells; 3.) 7 years utilizing PFEP (Plan For Every Part) database; 4.) 7 years utilizing lean manufacturing skills, including Lean Warehousing and Inventory Management, Just-in-Time, Pull Systems, Kanban, Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC Problem Solving, Work Analysis; 5.) 7 years supporting continuous flow cells, small batch processing and traditional assembly lines; 6.) 6 years supporting Lean Enterprise development and transformation utilizing Lean metrics; 7.) 6 years with Project Management, Value Stream Mapping, Change Leadership skills; and 8.) 6 years coordinating Multi-site Supply Chain Logistics.
