Our office in Eagle, WI is seeking a Machine Operator - Fabrication II. The Machine Operator - Fabrication II is expected to perform under the direction of the area supervisor, manufacture parts per plant specification in an accurate and timely manner utilizing a CNC Machining Center/Fabrication equipment while recognizing safety and efficiencies. This position reports directly to Production Manager or Supervisor. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Regular and prompt attendance and the ability to work schedule as define and overtime as required. Set up, adjust and operate CNC Machining Center Read and interpret blueprint specifications to determine procedures, verify programs and tooling Perform complex machine set ups and critical operations Position and replace tools, and set in relation to machine Use a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and verify conformance of work to specifications Understand special material handling required for materials and equipment used in the work cell Assist in other work areas as needed Repair/correction of errors Participation in training sessions Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills. Additional Qualifications: Ability to effectively communicate Contributes to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures. Intermediate PC knowledge. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products Strong problem solving and reasoning skills Ability to perform reading, writing, and math functions. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred experience on equipment and automation consistent with a metal fabrication, paint, and assembly operation. Intermediate mechanical aptitude, ability to understand complex issues and systematically work toward resolution. Ability to interpret drawings, schematics and machine specifications.
