Asbury Corporate Office Fixed Operations Management Trainer in Duluth, Georgia

Asbury Automotive Group, a Fortune 500 company with over 80 plus dealerships and 25 collision centers, is currently seeking an Automotive Fixed Operations Management Trainer!

The position of the Fixed Operations Management Trainer for the Asbury dealerships has the purpose of educating Fixed Operations high potential management candidates, along with current management, in the prescribed processes, techniques, and best industry practices that are represented in all Asbury markets. These activities will be conducted in classroom sessions and in the dealerships, as needed and requested.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates for these positions are experienced service managers and effective trainers from inside and outside Asbury.

  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an automotive or related program, plus 7+ years of automotive fixed operations experience.

  • A successful track record of both revenue producing and leadership experience.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)

The primary goals of the work of the Fixed Operations Management Trainer are:

  • Production of management training material

  • Educating candidates on management best practices and company core values

The Fixed Operations Management Trainer will relate and connect with the Regional Fixed Directors, dealership General Managers, Service Managers and Service Advisor's.

The Asbury Fixed training activities will include a combination of scheduled classroom instruction using Asbury produced training material, as well as dealership one-on-one and small group training.

The Fixed Operations Management Trainer will report regularly to management concerning program and personnel progress, with the emphasis on training needs and efficacy.

Focus areas for the Fixed Operations Management Trainer will include:

  • Operational Accounting

  • Revenue Generation

  • Marketing

  • Staffing

  • Leadership

  • HR Practices

The Fixed Operations Management Trainer position is Atlanta-based. It requires residence in the Atlanta area.

The Fixed Operations Management Trainer will visit all of the Asbury Automotive Group markets, training dealership personnel. The position will require approximately 75% travel.

Travel expenses such as flights, hotels, rental car and per diem meal allowance are reimbursed following established business expense guidelines.

The Fixed Operations Management Trainer will assist in Asbury and dealership operations as requested.
