Battle Watch Support Team (SOCSAL-17-1341-W):

Bowhead seeks experienced Battle Watch Support Team members to monitor, assess, and report the status of all SOF and friendly force current operations in the USSOUTHCOM AOR as operational missions are being conducted.

Provide real time operational status updates of all SOF and friendly deployed forces to the J33 Chief when requested.

Attend operational meetings as required to provide appropriate and timely operational information to the J33 staff.

Assist and support with the planning and execution of SOCSOUTH COOP training or real world missions. Have the responsibility to coordinate Command and Control (C2) status with the planning cells of the Future Operations Section and provide support and initial

response to crisis and appropriate notification across the spectrum of potential events (personal emergencies, physical security, natural disasters, and emergency or military contingencies) to command leadership.


• BA/BS degree preferred, desired.

• Must be able to demonstrate the skills, knowledge, experience, proficiency, and situational awareness to perform the services outlined.

• Minimum of 3 years of AOR experience required

• Practical operational experience or military service required. Special Operations or Special Forces experience preferred.

• Proof of training completion of a MS WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT class/course is mandatory.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must hold an active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
