We offer a friendly, professional work environment,an excellent starting salary and an outstanding benefit package, includinghealth, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition assistance and stock purchase plan.The Deposit Operations Utility I assists with the day to day operations inDeposit Operations department which includes but not limited to wiretransfers, ACH, proof processing, exception item processing, checkadjustments, maintenance on depository accounts, switchboard, generalledger and account balancing on a daily basis.Essential Functions: Daily balancing of ACH files, wire transmissions, assigned generalledgers (including TMS), US Treasury account, and teller balancing accounts. Responsible for overall system maintenance, input and audit of theWeiland Analysis System to insure proper billing for all commercial services.This includes customer setups, data transfer from Silverlake, manual dataentry, balancing the systems, statement generation and the production ofreports for Senior Management. Responsible for administrative functions on the overnight investmentsystems (mutual fund and repurchase). Serves as a contact for bankers on analysis issues. Generates monthly customer investment statements. Processes and resolves on a daily basis all positive pay exceptionsitems. Uploads positive pay files on a daily basis. Handles telephone calls regarding wire requests, debit card inquiresand ACH inquiries and investigations. Processes wires - incoming, outgoing and investigation requests. Processes and maintains accurate customer records regarding wiretransfer agreements, debit card request, ACH setup, etc. Processes incoming and outgoing ACH files, including researchingdisputes, returns, notifications to customer, reviews ACH suspendedbatch report and takes appropriate action. Sets up new wire transfer and ACH customers on appropriate systems. Ensures all wire transfer requests are properly authenticated and thatall security procedures are followed on a consistent basis. Identifies and escalates all customer issues to management in a timelymanner. Performs proof processing including but not limited to inclearings,P.O.D. processing for multiple Bank locations and processing withcorrespondent banks. Including amount entry and balancing functions. Tests the customer checks for validity of the MICR line and ink. Identifies and corrects customer errors on deposits, Wires, ACH, etc. Provides customer service and customer research as necessary. Responsible for ensuring all deadlines for Deposit Operations arecompleted within the established time frames and follow-through on allproblems in a timely manner. Reports hardware/software problems to the appropriate party, andassist in the testing and resolution of problems. Handles all maintenance requests for address changes and other changesto depository accounts. Communicates in a timely and professional manner to internal andexternal inquiries. Transfers funds and places stop payment orders as requested by clients.Including creating correcting entries to customer accounts as necessary. Processes all non-post and NSF items on a daily basis. Notifies bankofficers when appropriate, meets required deadlines, print notices andsuccessfully transfer files to the Federal Reserve Bank. Works with the bank officers on a daily basis to resolve overdrafts andnon-sufficient funds items. Prepares non-sufficient funds items for return tothe FED insuring the daily deadline is met. Processes charge backs within the specified time frame, notifyingclients and bank officers as dictated by return item instructions. Processes incoming and outgoing check adjustments to determine thecorrect correspondent bank to send the outgoing item. Balances and identifies any errors on the cashier check, interest andexpense checking account on a weekly basis.Other Functions: Assists internal and external c
