This position is responsible for operating a specific piece of equipment in an assigned area for efficient production while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Duties include setting up the embrex machines, mix vaccine, record time to measure how long it takes to do each buggy, fill in on embrex machine as needed and put machine check sheets on hatcher. Also includes stacking trays after the eggs are embrexed. After eggs are processed help clean up the embrex machine, clean up and disinfect vaccine room, wash and disinfect setter hallways and complete any other job specified by the supervisor. Make sure cleaning and sanitation of inovoject is being handled per specifications of Embrex without exception and that inovojet is clean from top to bottom at end of transfer. Run a QC plate after every buggy. Run completion of injection test weekly. Be sure to inspect each setter buggy for bad tops and cylinder plates and label if in need of repair. Be sure floor and hatcher and setter doors are clean after transfer. Wash down floor and walls in buggy and flat wash down area. Use sanitizer on all buggies and flats. Take all blown up eggs out of each flat. This position requires working in a dusty, hot, damp, humid environment with a high concentration of allergens. Must have the ability to stand for 8 to 10 hours a day along with the ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoop occasio
Applicant must have at least six (6) month work experience with a single employer within the last 12 months. Poultry or live experience and background check is required.
