AccessHR Operations Manager in Dallas, Texas
Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Insurance Collections, Coding and Billing operations. Oversee, implement and create processes to optimize reimbursement. Responsible for QA, auditing and developing policies and processes to reduce inefficiencies and maximize revenue by improving the medical billing, coding and collections functions.
Supervise and coordinate with staff collection of outstanding receivables of various payers or properly reviewed and paid in a timely manner.
Work directly with Coders to ensure coding accuracy that meet CMS standards and guidelines
Managing a staff of 15 plus employee’s including hiring, terminating, discipline, training and evaluation of their performance.
Communicate with Leadership as reimbursement changes impact collections.
Routine stand-up meetings with staff and providing notes from meetings.
Assist staff with their issues and resolutions regarding collections with payers.
Manage staff’s productivity and ensures staff members are working efficiently and accurately.
Research and implement procedures to help Collections operate more efficiently and improve days outstanding.
Communicates to the Director of Revenue Cycle any concerns and issues impacting coding and billing initiatives
Cooperates and maintains good rapport with staff, clients and Management team.
Maintain a professional approach with confidentiality. Assures protection and privacy of health information as attained through written, electronic or oral disclosures.
Seeks guidance and remains knowledgeable of, and complies with, all applicable federal and state laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
Will compile reports and submit as requested by Management.
Perform and work with Analyst to audit staff’s collection performance and report findings to designated Managers.
Development of training for staff and implement policies and procedures related to Collections
Supervises, trains, provides basic orientation to assigned personnel.
Reviews and approves employee’s time in Paylocity as scheduled.
Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases according to company policies.
Evaluations and disciplinary actions to be performed according to company policies.
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain high degree of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.
Communicate with other Managers within the organization on an ongoing basis.
Handle protected health information in a manner consistent with HIPAA.
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years Management experience required in related field.
3- 5 years of coding experience
Healthcare collections and billing knowledge required
Professional appearance and demeanor are required
Knowledge various insurance plans and providers required
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 required

Advanced knowledge of UB 04, HCFA 1500, and any other billing forms and filing requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook with necessary experience in multiple billing platforms.
Ability to motivate, delegate, control, monitor, and resolve issues in a performance driven, complex setting. Using independent judgment and team-oriented leadership skills.
Proficient in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
