Job Description:Position Overview:The position is predominantly verifying information after it has been entered in the system and pulling reports. The position will require one to pay close attention to details in a time-sensitive, fast paced environment. Will also be required to ensure documentation for both departments (Settlement and Disputes) are maintained and made available for internal use.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:• Verify data entry work by 1pm M-F to make sure all financial information is correct• Provide any corrections to the Lead in the Settlement Department• Review and ensure all documentation and signature(s) are received from proper authority for setup or change requests• Provide appropriate reports for chargeback requests in a timely manner• Scan all documentation for the Settlement and Dispute department on a daily basis and make sure it is made available for internal use• Assist other team members and perform other tasks within the department as required by managementSKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel• Ability to work in an environment with daily changes• Ability to be self-motivated and quickly learn new procedures.• Excellent problem-solving skillsMINIMUM PREPARATION AND TRAINING:• High school diploma or equivalent• One to three year of experience in banking or back office processing is helpful
