The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is seeking hardworking individuals to work from September through March in their Winter Maintenance Program ! PennDOT Winter Maintenance Program - Temporary Equipment Operators perform a variety of duties dudring the winter season, such as snow removal, traffic control, equipment repair and maintenance, guide rail repair and truck unloading. Candidates must possess a valid PA Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air Brake restriction lifted and two months of experience in the operation and maintenance of single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of between 26,000 and 32,000 pounds or any combination unit over 26,000 pounds with a tow greater than or equal to a 10,000 pound trailer. All candidates will be subject to a driving skills test in a manual transmission vehicle as part of the interview.
