Position Purpose:

Be a proactive member of the Laytable Team, meeting safety, quality and production expectations and complying with requirements agreed upon by Leadership.

Assist in execution of all elements of the quality process and quality management system.

Key Customers:

Kimberly-Clark Area Leadership, Laytable Associates, GNW and CPPM Kimberly-Clark personnel, outside vendors and valued Kimberly-Clark customers

Customer Expectations:

Provide focus and emphasis on the elements and requirements of the quality management system and drive the area towards continuous improvement.

Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, human relations, production and housekeeping.

Ensure corrective and preventative action for any nonconformance associated with designated fold and packing operating functions and any other problems noted in the area.


Report to the LaCosta Facility Manager and receive work direction from the Laytable Process Leader, the Laytable Safety, Quality and Training Coordinator, the Laytable Crew Lead, GNW Leadership Team and selected CPPM personnel in certain circumstances.

Assure all elements of the quality management system are in place and properly executed, striving for continuous improvement and error free operational effectiveness.

Acquire working knowledge of all system interface functions supporting the daily production plan, production schedule and shipping/distribution schedule as provided by the customer

Acquire functional knowledge and operational support of all functions in the Laytable area.

Support the total Laytable team effort (fold, bag, or flat-pack material into boxes as required by the appropriate product specification to meet the needs of customers. Erect and set up boxes to enable the packaging of products being converted. Observe the visual characteristics of the sheet to ensure product meets quality standards).
