Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Operate shag tractor-trailer combination in a confined space. Spot trailers in and out of loading docks in a safe and timely manner. Wash interior of trailers. Monitor and conduct product protection. Monitor temperature on trailer units. Perform tractor pre-checks.

Requirements

Valid driver s license. Good attendance and safety record. Self-motivated and have ability to work independently. Willing and able to fill-in on opposite shift if needed. Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays. Must be willing and able to become shag-tractor qualified. Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally and is exposed to acclimate conditions ranging from 100 degrees in the summer and below freezing in the winter as well as any other duties as assigned by supervisor. We do not rehire for this position. This would include our facility, IBP TYSON, Food Brands, Holly Farms, or any other Tyson affiliates acquisitions or company now part of Tyson Foods.
