12 hours shift: 7am - 7pm

  • Develop detailed operational understanding of all department equipment

  • Operate, perform machine adjustments and maintain all department equipment

  • Set-up, adjust, and record machine parameters per standing operating procedures

  • Perform record keeper duties consisting of data entry, transfer of employees, and reporting hours, etc in the absence of supervisor and Production Technician

  • Perform Production Technician back-up duties and assignments

  • Understand and follow all SOPs, GMPs, and safety regulations

  • Use specifications, Bill of Materials, and SOPs to ensure product acceptability

  • Document process abnormalities, report to supervisor and quality and take corrective actions

  • Complete all production records and review all batch documentation for completion

  • Perform change-overs, line clearances, material movement, TIQ checks, inventory management, etc

  • Communicate with department employees, management, engineering and maintenance

  • Perform 6S assigned responsibilities

  • Participate and assist in the training of new personnel

  • Complete required training programs

  • Participate in ongoing review of procedures and training materials

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and lead projects, meeting all timelines

  • Assist with the analysis/trending of performance data such as scrap, rework, etc

  • Run Label Machine per procedure

  • Assist in stack-off to maintain steady flow of bottles on all conveyors

  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management

  • High school diploma required; additional training and education a plus

  • Minimum of 2 years manufacturing or quality experience is desired

  • Working knowledge of plant and department environmental, health, and safety regulations is a plus

  • Mechanical aptitude is required; additional technical training is a plus

  • Be inquisitive in nature and able to formulate plans to solve problems

  • Possess proficient computer skills

  • Willing to work in a flexible work schedule and overtime as required

  • Shift is 12-hour night shift

  • Possess good communication skills both oral and written

  • Must be able to read, understand and follow GMPs, SOPs, Specifications, and all other procedures as they relate to the process

  • Have and maintain a low absenteeism record

  • Must have interpersonal and communications skills for routine interaction with management, department employees, engineering, quality, and maintenance

  • Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds repetitively

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to climb cross over ladders

  • Ability to ben and stoop

  • Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in Baxter Cleveland procedure CL-01-01-037

  • Audiometric testing and hearing protection required
