Red River Operations Project Manager in Claremont, New Hampshire
Red River is seeking an exceptional individual for this Claremont, NH.
The Operations Project Manager will be a creative and self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly learn business applications at both conceptual and functional levels. This position is a hybrid business analyst / project manager role; building relationships with department leads, gathering and analyzing requirements across multiple departments, recommending creative solutions to meet these requirements, and then facilitating the implementation of approved enhancements are some of the key OPM position duties.
The Operations Project Manager will provide operational insight and review for the Bids and Proposals team, offering innovative ways of applying Red River capabilities toward the successful win of new contracts. Additionally, the OPM will bring new and unique requirements identified within pursued contracts to the affected operations departments in order to prepare the company to execute on the contract, when awarded.
Lastly, the OPM will be responsible for creation, planning, and execution of project plans to onboard new contracts and programs won by the Red River proposals team, as well as transition of awarded contract to Red River’s Strategic Programs or Contract Service Center divisions. The OPM will help establish robust and efficient processes to increase efficiency of Red River contracts, to include documentation and training of affected users.
Serve as an operations team liaison and trusted point of contact for strategic business generation teams
Propose innovative solutions using Red River applications to fulfill customer requirements
Facilitate clear, concise, and relevant communication flow between divisions
Organize, manage, and communicate contractual requirements between divisions
Understand business implications of new business types for Red River
Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, etc.)
Able to successfully build strong working relationships with coworkers and clientele
Excellent at multitasking; able to successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously
Strong business management, organizational, and technical aptitude
Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite, to include MS Project and Visio
Project Management certification (e.g. PMP) or equivalent experience
Process improvement methodology certification (Lean/Six Sigma, BPA, etc.)
Experience working with federal contracting/purchasing
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
