This position will report directly to the President, Insurance Services and has responsibility for the development, design, operation and improvement of systems and processes that create and deliver commercial property and casualty, employee benefits and personal lines client products and services that will allow Fifth Third Insurance Agency to continue to expand and fulfill its goals. The incumbent is a key leader in identifying, developing, prioritizing, tracking, and executing the company's operating policies. Position is viewed as the overall expert in operational and support delivery.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevation concerns and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work to establish strategy and develop/design operational and support processes for commercial property and casualty, employee benefits and personal lines.
Implement continuous improvements and automation of Insurance systems and procedures to maximize quality, efficiency and productivity.
Develop and refine processes, policies, tools and training materials. Assist with all new employee integration.
Stay informed of new developments and ideas, which would affect the assigned line of business by attending various association meetings and staying current with industry trends
Mange the key account relationships with internal partners within sales, operations, technology, data management, marketing, and HR for all business issues related to commercial property and casualty, employee benefits and personal lines.
Manage relationships with Bancorp's Risk, Audit, Legal and Compliance teams to monitor that Bancorp internal policies and procedures are followed for commercial property and casualty, employee benefits and personal lines.
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of related property & casualty insurance operations leadership experience, including risk or compliance management
Experience operating in an environment with both individual accountability and team-based performance
Analytical with ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations across a large complex business
Experience successfully collaborating with and influencing management and peers to support growth and financial results
Experience operating successfully in a complex, matrixed organization, driving change through influence
Strong presence and credibility with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
