The Operations Analyst role is responsible for the validation of deposit account documentation for commercial and consumer new and existing accounts. Performs updates to the deposit exceptions tracking workbook and contributes to the monthly reporting of production and productivity stats and issue tracking. Adheres to policies, procedures, and training materials to maximize efficiency and customer service.

Essential Duties:

Daily, validate and track deposit account documentation exceptions according to procedure, including AML and Legal documentation and key data fields. Monitor outstanding exceptions, work as a liaison with internal departments and front office staff to close aged exceptions. Answer phone calls, emails and voice messages from internal customers (bankers and client banking specialists) regarding deposit account exceptions or reporting timely. Use collaboration hub and other electronic resources to support the lines of business. Prepare existing paper account files for scanning to document repository and maintain file cabinets in office. Maintain signature database (SQN) and work closely with Technology to troubleshoot issues.

Assist in the completion of complex projects associated with PrivateLink-Client Hub (Open Text), enhancements to the existing validation process, development and escalation of self-identified process improvements, and enhancements to the deposit exception tracking process.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize according to volume and other departmental assignments

Microsoft Office - advanced Excel, Word, Outlook

Strong PC skills and use multi-functional device

Requires effective oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of FIS systems (IBS Insight, Deposit Origination, BIC) and Open Text preferred
