Endo International Operator, Manufacturing in Chestnut Ridge, New York
Job Summary:Responsible for the operation, monitor, and cleaning of production machines to support the Compression process, following batch records, SOPs, and company policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
All equipment must be assembled, operated, disassembled and cleaned within the department according to current SOPs and company policies.
Document all entries into appropriate logs according to approved SOPs.
Evaluate the condition of all equipment parts and inform the supervisor of any wear or damage.
Monitor the compression process to ensure product quality.
Promptly report any production problems or equipment failures to the supervisor.
Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards.
Meet monthly production goals.

Education and or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
One to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry/GMP environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to speak clearly, listen and gain clarification, and respond well to questions.
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, including add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work a varied and flexible work schedule.
