Wells Fargo Video Platform Operations Leader (Business Initiatives Senior Manager) in Charlotte, North Carolina

Leading a team of 15, with up to 8 direct reports, this newly created position will report to the head of Corporate Video Services and lead video platform support, strategic planning, and project management. Primary stakeholders include Corporate Communications, Marketing, executive leadership, team members, and operations leaders supporting video production, digital signage, live events, and team member video channels. This position is located at 301 South Tryon Street in Charlotte, NC.

/Specific responsibilities include:/

  • Lead business architecture and platform/technology strategy across video production, studio control systems, post-production platforms, media management, broadcast, and other distribution platforms

  • Lead Corporate Video Services strategy and roadmap activities, including planning and coordination across department leaders, facilitation, documentation, and team communications

  • Technical design and support for studio shoots, live event broadcasts, and on-air interviews, including: site surveys for new venues, video transmission and switching, live broadcast and streaming, robotic flash cameras, and tier 1 support during live broadcasts

  • Lead day-to-day support and maintenance for all studio systems and related equipment, including: control rooms, video switching and routing, audio control, studio cameras, lighting systems, teleprompters, encoders/decoders, field production kits, and other related equipment

  • Partner with the IT organization relative to the strategy, planning, execution, and support of enterprise technologies and application support, including: project management system (POST), video edit workstations, media storage solutions, transcode applications and appliances, media management and workflow, broadcast tools, live and on-demand streaming solutions, and digital signage

  • Remote satellite and signage equipment administration (moves/adds/changes and equipment imaging) including multi-tiered support model and external vendor coordination for installation activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • 5+ years of management experience
