Bank of America Senior Financial Analyst – Business Operations and Governance in Charlotte, North Carolina
This position will include but will not be limited to the following job responsibilities on the Business Operations and Governance team
Create Spreadsheet Policy and Controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of Critical Use Spreadsheets within Capital Management. This includes but not limited to newly creating desktop procedures, processes and controls, managing and ensuring accuracy of quarterly attestation.
Create Model Management Policy and Controls to ensure completeness of model uses (not limited to ownership but also use). This includes reviewing all data elements to ensure accurate quarterly attestation.
Assist with the Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) including identifying and making updates to processes, risks, controls and metrics values within the Process, Risk and Controls (PRC) application via ORCIT
Prepare the Operations Risk Dashboard by compiling and analyzing Quality Assurance (Q/A), Key Risk Indicators (KRI) data and Incident Management reporting for reporting to Senior Level Management.
Ad -hoc projects as needed.
Enteprise Role Overview
R esponsible for more complex finance activities around capital calculation, reporting and/or analysis to support the Bank's Capital Initiatives. Must have a thorough understanding of Basel III. Can work independently. May provide supervision to a small staff. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects within the unit and with partners.
Required Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of financial analysis and reporting experience
Experience analyzing data and disseminating information into a concise format for executive level presentations
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with SharePoint
Ability to work across multiple business units
Strong communication skills
