Job Summary

  • Spa or supervisor experience is preferred

  • 2-3 years of spa experience is required

  • Need to be flexible with schedule. Schedule is based off of business needs

  • Responsible for all Front Office/Retail associatesupholding the Aji Spa standards of etiquette and service as it relates toSheraton and Forbes Standards. Coaching of spa associates and demonstration ofexceptional guest service and verbiage. Candidate must be able to work flexiblehours am and pm shifts. Must be willing and able to assist with overseeingdaily operations of spa desk, fitness facility and pool with emphasis on guestservice, cleanliness, safety, fiscal responsibility (i.e. staff direction, guestconflict resolution, revenue generation). Will serve as Spa Shift Supervisor

  • Responsible forensuring all acquisitions at Aji are processed properly through P2P and thateach department has a proper inventory and par system in place. Correctingall Star Time issues and completing all payroll entries for commissioned staffand submitting that information to accounting. Overseeing and maintainingall operational manuals to include but not limited to policies, procedures,protocols, handbooks, CTQs, and associated forms.

  • Responsible for being knowledgeable in all aspectsof the spa and resort. Exercise proper telephone etiquette with guests incompliance with the Hotel s terminology and standards set forth by Forbes5-Star Standards. Ensuring that all client needs are met answering anyquestions, making suggestions, and suggestive selling at each opportunity.

  • Practice all sanitation and safety guidelines providedby both the Department of Health and the Resort. Maintain cleanliness in allareas of The Spa/Health Club.

Assess individual's current exercise program and level of fitness to develop personalized exercise programs and provide fitness counseling. Provide advice to individuals on the correct method of exercising with fitness equipment. Provide information, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities. Call Maintenance or an outside service company if machines require service. Maintain an adequate supply of cups and water in recreation area. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.

Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational quality. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines; reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop; move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
