Kforce Semiconductor Technician / Operator in Chandler, Arizona

Kforce has a client that is searching for a Semiconductor Technician/Operator in Chandler, AZ. The primary role for this person will be running WIP in the fab (production floor).Essential Functions:

  • Perform multi-functional wafer fabrication processes and equipment operations

  • Obtains and maintains all required skill certifications

  • Utilizes Promis, Manufacturing systems as required

  • Utilizes and maintains electronic product tracking and communication systems

  • Adjusts process and equipment to assure proper quality and production requirements are met

  • Is an active member of the work team and will assume a logistical role as part of the team

  • Communicates in a timely and thorough fashion with all internal customers and team members

  • Uses quality techniques at all certified operations

  • Uses Statistical Process Control to audit control charts

  • Applies corrective action plans at all operations in the work area

  • Performs and maintains equipment qualifications and status in the work area

  • Maintaining and monitoring of all clean room protocols

  • Assure compliance with all safety standards and participate in monitoring them

  • Utilize computer aided manufacturing such as Promis and Datalog for communication, data recording and report extraction

  • May perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Participates in basic equipment trouble shooting and preventive maintenance

  • Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly

  • May perform changes or refills of chemicals in the work area

  • May be required to aid in the training of new employees or lesser skilled employees

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in the fabrication of semiconductor devices

  • Job requires extensive standing and walking between various tools

  • Must be able to stand, stoop and reach for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds overhead and frequently move it over extended distances

  • Must be able to push/pull typically about 75 pounds, but up to 200 pounds via rolling cart or rolling wire rack

  • Must have sufficient hand manipulation and ability to grasp wafer pod frequently during shift

  • Must be able to work with a variety of chemicals and gases
