Job Summary

Responsible for the set-up, run and trouble shoot the Thermoformer, Injection Molders, Perforators, Water Jet and Extruder. Ensure the quality standards are met throughout the entire production process from raw materials to finished goods.

Major Duties

  • Set-Up, operate and trouble shoot the Thermoformer

  • Read blue prints, drawings and rulers

  • Operate secondary operation equipment including and not limited to CNC machine, bandsaw, press, grinders, routers, other various hand tools.

  • Start-up, shut-down, operate, performs mold, shim, nozzle, and color changes. Complete associated paperwork with the injection molder.

  • Start-up, shut-down, trouble shoots and run the Extruder. Perform material test and complete associated paperwork.

  • Quality assurance of products, material maintenance and material handling

  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety.

  • Act responsibly and take reasonable care for the health and safety of both yourself and your colleagues by working safely and efficiently, using protective equipment provided and meeting statutory obligations and adhering to the company procedures for security a safe workplace.

Other Duties

  • Start-up, shut-down, set-up troubleshoots and operates the Perforators and Water Jet Cutter.

  • Use of measuring devices.

  • Assemble and package product.

  • Assist Production Leads in the training of running equipment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 2 or more years of machine set-up experience, have mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Must be a fork lift driver

  • Knowledge of reading blue prints

This is a 2nd shift position 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm Monday through Friday
