Aerojet Rocketdyne Operations Service Support 2 in Camden, Arkansas

Overview

Aerojet Rocketdyne is seeking an Operational Service Support 2 for our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas . In this role, you will perform a variety of semi-routine operational service support duties of moderate complexity (such as making entries into Oracle, ordering materials needed for work orders, cycle count floor stock, ensure shop floor has paperwork to perform work) requiring the exercise of some discretion and limited use of judgment and initiative.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)

Working under general supervision:

60% - Data retrieval and data entry. General clerical duties.

20% - Inventory parts/components needed in manufacturing.

10% - Cycle counting KanBan parts/components and ordering parts/components.

10% - Bar coding activity and distributing controlled paperwork.

Requirements

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent preferred and two (2) years of directly related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Must have computer knowledge and be proficient in the use of Excel, Access and Word. Must be able to multi task and work under moderate supervision. Requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions to accomplish assignments of a routine and repetitive nature.

Workplace may include areas where chemical materials are encountered. May involve exposure to a variety of environments with variable noise levels. May be required to utilize a variety of personal protective equipment. May have to research stored files under adverse conditions.

US Citizenship Only Required. Dual Citizenship does not meet job qualifications. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship). Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit for extended lengths of time and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
