JPMorgan Alternative Investment Services delivers an extensive solution for hedge fund, private equity, and fund of hedge fund clients seeking independent administration and custody services or to outsource their day-to-day operations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all scheduled operational deliverables are completed by agreed deadlines with the client and/or internal JPMorgan divisions

  • Reconciliation of trades, investment positions and cash balances to external third parties (banks, prime brokers, counterparties and custodians)

  • Perform trade break resolution with prime brokers and counterparties

  • Trade support for listed and OTC products

  • Perform PB Margin, Collateral Management and OTC Settlements functions

  • Review OTC long form confirmation and/or confirmations via electronic platforms

  • Process security life cycle events

  • Work with clients to resolve queries and providing first level account service

  • Streamline operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiencies

· Work closely with technology to perform user acceptance testing, for upgrades, and enhancements

  • Management reporting for MIS and ad hoc requests

  • Participate in departmental projects as needed


· Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting, or Economics

  • 3+ years of Hedge Fund Operations or Funds Admin experience

  • 2+ years of reconciliation experience

  • Diverse product exposure including Listed and OTC products

  • PB Margin, Collateral Management, Settlements experience preferred

  • Experience using Geneva, DTCC, Mark-It wire and TriOptima a plus

  • Corporate Action processing experience preferred.

  • Superior interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work within a fast paced environment

  • Critical thinker with track record of process improvements

  • Strong communication and analytical skills
