JPMorgan Alternative Investment Services delivers an extensive solution for hedge fund, private equity, and fund of hedge fund clients seeking independent administration and custody services or to outsource their day-to-day operations.
Ensure all scheduled operational deliverables are completed by agreed deadlines with the client and/or internal JPMorgan divisions
Reconciliation of trades, investment positions and cash balances to external third parties (banks, prime brokers, counterparties and custodians)
Perform trade break resolution with prime brokers and counterparties
Trade support for listed and OTC products
Perform PB Margin, Collateral Management and OTC Settlements functions
Review OTC long form confirmation and/or confirmations via electronic platforms
Process security life cycle events
Work with clients to resolve queries and providing first level account service
Streamline operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiencies
· Work closely with technology to perform user acceptance testing, for upgrades, and enhancements
Management reporting for MIS and ad hoc requests
Participate in departmental projects as needed
· Bachelor degree required, degree preference is Finance, Accounting, or Economics
3+ years of Hedge Fund Operations or Funds Admin experience
2+ years of reconciliation experience
Diverse product exposure including Listed and OTC products
PB Margin, Collateral Management, Settlements experience preferred
Experience using Geneva, DTCC, Mark-It wire and TriOptima a plus
Corporate Action processing experience preferred.
Superior interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work within a fast paced environment
