The University credits much of its growth and success to the hard work and dedication of its employees.Job Description:Under the direction of the Director of Enrollment Systems and Operations, the Assistant/Associate Director of Admission Operations is responsible for all reporting for the Undergraduate Admission department, as well as the Enrollment Management division as needed. He or she will serve as a technical expert in all enrollment systems. This position provides leadership for Undergraduate Admission Operations by managing the lifecycle of all admission records, as well as effectively supervising the Operations staff in these tasks. This individual also supports the Undergraduate Admission Department and University's strategic admission goals and objectives with the potential to manage an assigned recruitment territory, which may involve recruitment travel and/or application review. Essential Functions Reporting and SystemsExtensively and expertly use the reporting functions of all institutional software, namely Tableau, to turn data into information. Develop and implement data reporting systems. Collaborate with senior leadership or other admission staff regarding the needs for reporting data. Set policies for data tracking and monitoring to ensure data integrity in all admission systems. Provide recurring and ad hoc reporting for the admission staff, enrollment management, as well as other departments and divisions.Analyze data and reports, providing summaries and data-informed recommendations when appropriate.In support of the Director of Enrollment Systems and Operations, serve as an additional technical expert for all enrollment systems. Train staff members on systems, trouble-shoot errors, manage upgrades and ensure effective use of systems. Develop and test new system modules and processes.Play a lead role in the development and management of an online applicant and/or prospect portal.Operations ManagementResponsible for coordinating, and managing the timely and accurate processing of all undergraduate admission applications throughout the admissions and enrollment process.Analyze business practices and process flows, establish policies for tracking and coding, and assure these policies, practices and processes are reflective of best practices and adhered to.Support workflow and business process improvement by identifying and implementing efficiencies and automations within the department and across the division.Territory ManagementMay plan and execute fall and/or spring recruitment for an assigned territory; including high school visits, college fairs, visits to CBOs, meetings with independent counselors, and region
